Sam is a positive and enthusiastic Structural Engineer, with over 14 years of experience in the construction industry. During his professional career Sam has successfully delivered an extensive range of projects across multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and minor highway structures for adoption by local authorities.

With a proactive and client-focussed design approach, Sam prides himself on providing high-quality engineering solutions to suit the client’s requirements. With a widespread knowledge of construction materials, Sam is experienced in working with steel frames, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.

Since joining Airey & Coles in 2016, he has gained experience in leading a structural team to deliver high value and often complex schemes, including several award-winning developments. His work ethic and passion have enabled Sam to progress internally, becoming an Associate in late 2022.

Outside of work Sam enjoys an active lifestyle of hiking, wild-camping, stand-up paddle boarding and various DIY projects.
